Review Policy

Who can leave a review
Only patients who contacted a clinic through Dr.Visor, or met it at a Dr.Visor consultation or event, can review that clinic. Reviews must be about treatment or a consultation the reviewer personally received. Reviewers must be 18 or over; a parent or guardian may review on behalf of a minor without identifying them.
How we check reviews
We match each review against our enquiry records. We may contact reviewers by email or phone to confirm their details. Reviews we have confirmed are marked "Verified". We remove reviews we find to be fake, copied from elsewhere, or written by clinic staff or associates.
Clinics cannot buy, write or remove reviews
Listing on Dr.Visor is free and there are no paid listings, so all reviews are treated the same way. Clinics cannot pay for reviews, offer patients anything in return for a review, or write reviews of themselves or competitors. A clinic that does so may be removed from Dr.Visor. Clinics can reply publicly to any review, and can ask us to check a review they believe breaks this policy, but cannot ask for an honest negative review to be removed.
Content rules
- Be accurate and fair. Do not post anything defamatory, abusive or misleading.
- Do not name individual staff members or include contact details.
- We cannot publish claims about medical negligence or criminal conduct. Please report these to the relevant authority.
- If there are legal proceedings between the reviewer and the clinic, we will hold the review until they end.
- We may decline or remove reviews that break these rules.
Your privacy
We show only your first name and city. Your full name, email and phone number are kept private and used only to check your review.
