Most patients flying to Turkey for a hair transplant end up at a clinic that does nothing else. Mediest is a different shape. That matters more than it sounds. A hair transplant is a long procedure under local anaesthetic, usually on a patient who has flown in the day before, and the thing that goes wrong is rarely the graft work. It is everything around it. Having an internal medicine specialist in the same building, rather than a taxi ride away, changes what happens if a patient's blood pressure is unexpected on the morning of surgery.

The centre describes itself as boutique, by which it means small enough that you see the doctor rather than a coordinator. Each of its specialists is named on the clinic's own website with their medical school, their specialty training and the hospitals they came from, which is not the norm in this market and is the main reason this profile can be as specific as it is.

The centre works in Turkish, English and Arabic, and is open six days a week.

Qualified from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and completed his internal medicine specialty training at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Hospital between 1990 and 1994. He then practised at İçel Gülnar State Hospital and at Ziraat Bank Hospital from 1996 to 2020, so close to four decades in medicine. His interests run across cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology and immunology.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Qualified from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and completed her specialty training at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in Bursa between 2000 and 2004. She spent sixteen years at Özel Kuantum Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre before joining Mediest. She treats orthopaedic, neurological and rheumatological conditions, post-surgical recovery, spinal disorders, chronic pain and paediatric rehabilitation, and her listed interests include prolotherapy and dry needling.

Paediatrics

Qualified from Turgut Özal University in 2014 and completed her paediatric specialty training at Ankara Children's Health, Diseases, Haematology and Oncology Hospital between 2015 and 2019, followed by internal medicine training at Bilkent City Hospital. She holds a master's degree from Yozgat Bozok University. Her work covers newborn examination and follow-up, breastfeeding and infant sleep advice, developmental screening, vaccination, childhood nutrition, and conditions including bronchiolitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis and food allergies.

Physiotherapist

Graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, one of the strongest programmes in Turkey for the field. She has worked at Kırıkkale SSK Hospital, Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital, Özel Ortadoğu Medical Centre and 19 Mayıs Hospital. Her work is musculoskeletal rehabilitation, postural assessment and correction, spinal manipulation, rehabilitation exercise programmes and osteopathic technique.

Specialist Dietitian

Graduated with high honours in Nutrition and Dietetics from Başkent University in 2023 and completed her master's there in 2025, having first taken a degree in industrial engineering. Her clinical placements were at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, Gülhane Training and Research Hospital and Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital, with a bariatric nutrition placement at the Prof. Dr. Oktay Banlı clinic. She works on adult and paediatric nutrition, bariatric surgery nutrition and rare disease nutrition.

Dr.Visor is confirming each clinician's Turkish Ministry of Health registration with the centre, along with the identity of the doctor who performs hair transplant surgery, and will publish those details here once received.
